Rev. David Broadbent is our Pastor.  He has served the Canal Point UMC for nine years and is continuing into his tenth year.  He received his Theological training at Candler School of Theology, a part of Emory University in Decatur, Georgia.  He earned his bachelors degree in Zoology and his Masters Degree in Human Development at the University of Maine, Orono, Maine.

Pastor David, as he likes to be called, is married to Paulette, his Home Decorator wife.  They will celebrate 33 years of marriage this year.
They have three children, Jenny who lives in Royal Palm Beach with her family; Adam and Rachel who live in Lehigh Acres, FL; and David James who is a student at FSU in Tallahassee and works full time with an internet company. Pastor David and Paulette have 3 grandchildren: Lawson and Shelby who are in church each Sunday with their parents, and Lilly who lives with her parents in Lehigh Acres.
