The VIBE Youth Ministry

Vitality in Biblical Excellence
United Methodist Ministry to the Youth of the Glades

VIBE is alive … with a purpose in mind!

It's hard to believe that VIBE has been alive and active since 2007!  We started two years ago with a handful of students and have grown larger as we progressed through the months.  VIBE is open to all youth who are currently in 7th grade and continues through their senior year of high school.  WE are biblically centered and with all we do we give our thanks and praise to our Lord Jesus Christ.  We have a weekly meeting on Sunday's at Community United Methodist Church in Belle Glade.  We begin at 4:00 p.m. and conclude around 6.  You can find us on the second floor of the education building in room 206.

Some of the activities we have are frequent pool parties, a week (or two) at summer camp, and a trip to Night of Joy at Disney World.  We participate in the annual pumpkin patch celebration and also various activities associated with CROS Ministries.

The only prerequisite for attending VIBE is that you have a willing and open heart to be part of a fun-loving group who has a desire to know Jesus Christ more personally.  We welcome all youth from any spritual background, who belong to any church and embrace their heritage as they were brought up too.

Feel free to contact me for more information at vibe@canalpointumc.org and I'll be happy to get back to you.

We look forward to seeing you on Sunday!
